5 Minute White Sauce (Gluten Free)

Ingredients:

  • 50ml White Wine (Optional but delicious!)
  • 750ml Water
  • 200ml Cream
  • 3 Veg Stock Cubes
  • 3tblsp corn flour
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Place a saucepan over a high heat and add the wine.
  2. When Wine has reduced by about 1/3 add the water cream ands stock cubes.
  3. Bring to the boil and simmer for a few minutes
  4. Loosen the cornflour with a little drop of water and whisk into the sauce continuing to cook until fully thickened to the desired consistency. (Add more cornflour and water little by little if not thick enough, if too thick add a little water.)
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
